We all experience at different times in our life, things that do not serve us. This article addresses the possibility of choice and ways to change any experience one might encounter in life.

How to change an experience
We create our experiences (not what happens to us) through our being. So the question is who are we being? In contrast to being...pure being …..we may experience ourselves to be something else....this or that depending on what we believe to be from what others have told us or from our own observations and experiences.

If you believe you are an individual person you will experience yourself as that....a person being separate from others.

Within that belief of being a separate individual there are many possibilities one may believe about one's life. Too many to name all of them, but to use an example one may believe in poverty. What an individual believes in is subject to what he is aware of. If you never heard of poverty or the possibility of it existing you would not be open to that possibility and when confronted with that belief not accept it as true. And since you don't believe in it you would never experience it which would validate your belief that it does not exist or does not exist in your life.

Once an individual becomes aware that a belief is creating the an experience one has a choice to dismiss the belief, keep it or change it. There is no judgment on keeping ,dismissing or changing a belief. A belief serves a purpose until it no longer serves one.

Using the example of abundance, should you choose to experience abundance you have to establish a belief in it. One first has to open one’s mind to the possibility. Ask yourself could it be possible that abundance exists? Your brain will look for something within your subconscious mind on the subject possibilities or something similar. If one becomes aware of the possibility one’s mind is open and a new belief can enter. Listening to others that believe in abundance, reading books about it, looking and expecting to see abundance in things that you already have will help to establish the belief and chances are sooner or later you will not only feel it but also see it and it will become your experience. The inner belief creates the outside appearance.

To rid a belief, first become aware of your experience. If you are experiencing poverty you have a belief that is manifesting the appearance of it. Now, look within your subconscious mind for the belief in poverty by asking yourself:  Do I believe in poverty? Once the belief is found and acknowledged, recognize that what you are seeing is a belief. It's like holding an item into the light (your awareness). If light is blocked from shining through it is a belief and not true. Accordingly the belief will stop manifesting as an appearance and/or it will no longer be part of your awareness nor your experience.
