“Love is the answer whatever the question, love is the answer.  It’s the greatest force in the universe,” by Wally Amos.   In a conversation I recently had with a young man, he shared with me his thoughts about what he would do with millions of dollars.  He told me all the things he would spend it on; that he would live a rich man’s life.  I asked him “Does your mother love you”?  He replied “Yes, we are very close she is my best friend.”  I answered “You are already a rich man, rich in love.”  He carried the gift of love within him and didn’t realize how precious and powerful unconditional love is.  “Unconditional Love” is the greatest gift from God, a golden thread of light that fills our hearts, warms our soul and connects us as one.    Love is the most powerful life force energy in the universe!  Each and every one of us has love in our hearts. 

 

Some may feel they don’t have love in their hearts; that they are not capable or worthy of such a powerful life force.  Those who feel this way are blocked by another force the opposite of love which is fear. Fear is that dark void, that negative inner voice that tells you lies, keeps you stuck, exhausts all your energy and results in irrational thoughts with no foundation to stand on.  Fear erodes your foundation, destroys trust in yourself and others, divides a family or greater a country or as we see right now with the war going on a WORLD.   Jesus said, But he knew what they were thinking and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste, and no town or house divided against itself will stand.” {Matthew chapter 12 verse 25} Fear is like cancer it starts out small and hidden and quietly grows.  Fear will dominate your life if you open the door to it, but you have a choice {another one of God‘s gifts free will}--  the ability to choose. 

 

The power to choose faith and love over fear will set you free. When you choose to live in faith and love over fear, you are building a solid foundation that will stand on truth instead of lies that fear whispers into your ear.  Love is life force energy so powerful that it can only come from God or if you prefer a higher power.  The power of love comes from a source beyond anything we can comprehend or see.  Love is the fabric of our life.  We want to love and be loved by God, family, friends, pets, so much so that it is the spiritual food that fuels our hearts, the music we listen to, daily conversations, literature we read, holidays and in the movies love touches every aspect of our lives.  Where there is evil I believe below the surface there is love buried inside. 

 

So why do we believe in love and want it to fill our lives?  We can’t see it, but we can feel it in our hearts. We know it is real and we share it with others.  Our faith tells us that you know it is there but you cannot see it.  Faith keeps us off the path of fear and on the path of love; which will lay the foundation of a world that is safe and loving for all.  We may all appear different but we are all one.  The world is one giant hand made quilt made by the hands of God.  Each piece needs to be there, interlocked and woven together by a single golden thread -- love.  Each square of the quilt is different in it its own unique way. Some squares are more colorful, or have their own special pattern.  Every square is needed in order to complete the quilt as one large blanket held together by a hand sewn thread. I would like to interpret that golden thread as the “Thread of Life” = “Love.”  Each square is a different part of the world. We need all the parts to be one.  Missing a square of the quilt would make it incomplete.  An incomplete quilt could not function as a whole blanket. 

 

Without a piece of the world we will not function as a complete universe.  No matter what our differences, beliefs, skin color, culture; we are like that large quilt, not complete if we are not all here.  That thread of life “unconditional love” (the greatest gift from God) is the most powerful force connecting us.  Love - we are looking for it all the time.  Yet we make it so complicated.  It is so simple; it is right in front us.  We the people are all the different pieces that make up the world connected by a single golden thread of life called love and to be complete we must compliment each other and unite as ONE.  LOVE IS THE ANSWER FOR A SAFE AND PEACEFUL WORLD TO LIVE IN.
