Atma Kriya Yoga is a system of simple techniques that if practiced will change your life. How do I know? Because it changed mine.

Atma Kriya yoga is made up of mantra chanting, visualization, meditation on sound, pranayama, chakra meditation, mudras, asanas, and a group healing technique; all of which work together for one goal—uncovering the love within us.

To understand Atma Kriya Yoga it is much easier to talk about why we practice, versus the practice itself.

Form the moment of birth, we have been looking for one thing, one big thing that will satisfy us, strengthen us, and bestow happiness and peace upon us. This one thing is love. Love is a thing that is so dear to us it rules every thought and emotion in our lives. But, how is it possible for love to be so intameitaly connected with our lives, yet we are unaware of it? The answer is simple: the mind.

If a light bulb is covered in dust the amount of light it shines will diminish. Similarly, the more negativity that enters the mind, the less our love is able to shine. When this happens, we naturally feel unsatisfied, stressed, depressed and unclear in who we are and what we should do. However, Atma Kriya Yoga works as a duster, cleaning our minds, so we may shine our own light, spreading our love and happiness everywhere, continuously.

When we begin to love we begin to be ourselves. No longer do we look outside for acceptance and love, for we have it already inside of ourselves.

Love is a marvelous thing, a mystical thing, which grants everything anyone has ever wanted: happiness, contentment, enjoyment, passion for life, peace of mind, wisdom, and the freedom to be you.

The love has been, is presently, and will always be inside of each person, all we need to do is look for it, and clean the dust from our minds. This dust in the minds comes in many different forms such as, jealousy, pride, greed, anger, spitefulness, etc. All the self-centered emotions stop us in loving, firstly ourselves, and then others.

Often people learn the mechanism of being friendly and loving with others, without first learning how to love themselves. However as long as one has not learned to be compassionate and understanding towards themselves, the love they show to others will always be incomplete. Similarly, how can we give a person a Euro if firstly we do not have a Euro?

The difficult art of being kind towards ourselves, yet maintaining the drive to improve can be mastered with the practice of Atma Kriya Yoga. I have yet heard of any student of Atma Kriya Yoga who sincerely practices and says they feel no improvement. On the contrary, most people begin to feel a positive change in their life before the course has ended!

Atma Kriya Yoga is for the people of today, with few exceptions. It is a practice which you can dedicate 5 minutes a day to, all the way up to 3-4 hours a day—whatever fits your schedule. No matter if you do a little or a lot, Atma Kriya Yoga will help you.

Atma Kriya Yoga is simple techniques that are meant to fulfill and improve the life we are living now. Atma Kriya Yoga has helped rekindle love in marriages.
