rom 1993 to 1998, Mingyur Rinpoche studied with great diligence, mastering the five traditional subjects of the authoritative scriptures-Madhyamaka, Prajnaparamita, Abhidharma, Pramana, and Vinaya-as well as their subsidiary topics. Moreover, although he is now extremely learned, he continues his personal studies and practice and also teaches, writes, and engages in debate to benefit others. Rinpoche is the youngest of six brothers, who are all tulkus in their own right.
