    Truth vs Illusion

    In life, there is always this misconception of truth and a refusal to believe that you can see the illusion. That may sound confusing at first, but the truth is, that the truth is harder to find in your life because you must seek it out and the illusion is easier to find. It is the easier road to take because illusion is placed in your life for you. There are many factors that take away the truth in your life and replace it with illusion and the biggest factor in our view is fear.

    Forced Connections vs Choice Connections

    As you have forced connections and choice connections in your life, the purpose of your life is to diminish the forced connections and increase the choice connections. It is meant to free yourself of having to have forced connections, of having to go through situations just to get through. Life will never be simple, but choosing a different perspective to view it in will make it less and less difficult to function. You have the power within to decide what your life will look like, who will be in that life, who you choose to have a relationship or connection with.

    In meditation, you learn to stop paying attention to the content of thoughts and begin to rest your attention on the awareness that is aware of thoughts.

    Whatever you resist, whatever you remain unconscious to or distract yourself from continues to hurt you, continues to dictate your life and lead you further into separation and stress. The moment you can be honest of its presence and allow it completely, then awareness transforms it into peace.

    Transcending Thinking in Meditation

    You can let go of the thoughts your are involved with. You don't let go of the thought to grab something else. Rather, you just rest in letting go. You rest in that place of not holding on to anything. Then you are no longer a something. You are formless consciousness.

    Do you ever have conversations with yourself?

    I don't mean like hearing voices but more like thinking about things and questioning yourself? Or going over an important decision that you have to make again and again? This kind of conversation with yourself will not help you to solve your problems or make good decisions and is not productive or helpful.

    What Shakespeare Can Teach Us About Enlightenment

    When I was an undergraduate at university many years ago, my deep enjoyment and love for the works of William Shakespeare blossomed. I had the privilege of taking a Shakespearean class and then during one summer in my undergraduate years, I was able to travel through Europe inexpensively on a bike and a Europass to see the great sites. A memory I remember most is going to Stratford-upon-Avon and watching a William Shakespeare play. I don?t know where my passion and love for his plays comes from but it has been a deep part of my life. His writings have also taught me many things

    As young children, many of are taught how to pray. Yet quite few of us are shown how to meditate. Prayer is when we speak with God. Meditation is when we listen to the voice of our Divine. We can only meditate when we empty our minds of all that chaos and ?be? still in the moment. It is in these times that we hear, feel and know that which comes through our higher selves from our Divine. Do not fear this. God speaks to us in numerous means. Sometimes He talks with us directly, occasionally He sends all of us Angels, both those of the Celestial Realm and those who walk the world and talks through them. Be open to receiving His adoring assistance by means of all channels that He may choose to use. A form of meditation is to sit calmly with both feet placed securely on the ground. Burn up a candle light and play some gentle music and shut your eyes. Open your hand allowing your palms and face up. Regulate your breathing and emphasis only on this. Hear and feel each breath as you inhale and exhale. Now let go and ?be? permitting your mind to take you exactly where you should be, seeing what you ought to see, and listening to what you should hear.     Advanced Meditation Technique

    Once witnessing is established, if the mind is quiet enough, you can turn attention back upon itself. You can become aware of the witnessing itself.
